2016 was a weird year in that so many awful and disappointing things happened on a macro level in the world, but on a personal level, it ended up being pretty awesome. I got to spend the last week of the year in Virginia with my parents, and we basically saw every historical site in the state. We also discovered that Williamsburg has an overwhelming amount of pancake houses. Then we came back to DC on NYE and rung in the new year with friends and tequila.

It’s so wonderful to see you and your family. I have very dear friends in Williamsburg and think it’s a very cool town.
