Traveling for work is a double-edged sword. You get to go to a new place! For free! But you also spend the majority of your time in a windowless room, hoping you have time to scarf a bag of donuts for lunch between assignments. I’m lucky, in that I really do enjoy the work part of my travel, but I definitely tried to squeeze in a few sightseeing walks around Toronto in my “off” time. This meant an accidental six-mile walk to Distillery Row on my arrival day when I didn’t have anything to do yet, and a street art photography trip after dark down Graffiti Alley (after dinner at Bellwoods Brewery, which was ridiculously delicious). I really loved Toronto, and hope I get to go back on a real vacation to explore more of the city.
